Director Information Technology
The Information Technology Director will manage and provide hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and management and development of resources in an effective and efficient manner. This individual will maintain information technology strategies by managing staff and implementing technological solutions.
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments.
Verifies application results by conducting system audits of changes.
Monitor and maintain technology to ensure access to systems.
Preserves assets by implementing and maintaining and testing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and implementing information security and control structures.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
Works with project teams to help implement systems and modifications.
Oversees all help desk activities.
Responds to escalated help desk issues.
Oversees the administration and maintenance of our tracking software.
Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies.
Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.
Accomplishes information technology staff development by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains staff assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10-15 years professional Information Technology experience. At least 5 years in IT management.
Thorough knowledge of application development, system development lifecycles, and project management.
Experience with the Help Desk function.
Working knowledge of networks, telecommunications, and infrastructure.
Strong experience with problem solving and troubleshooting
Base Salary $150,000 - $180,000 + Bonus

Our client, 75 person, one shift, six day a week processing operation in the Greater Buffalo, New York area is searching for a dynamic and driven General Manager
This operation will be moving to one shift seven days a week in the near future
This company has goods in the front door, processed and sent out the back door usually with a less than four hour turn around for processing
The environment is very fast paced and demanding to hit the deadlines required by the customer
This is an excellent opportunity for a hard working and driven senior manager with significant management and leadership skills
This is a hands on leadership role. The GM will manage from the floor 80% of the time
The GM must know how to manage by walking around and engaging the personnel and building relationships with all levels in the company
This is a company that has had some financial difficulties but will be under new ownership as of the First of July
This General Manager will have total P&L responsibility for all of the operating unit
This will include process improvement
The GM will also manage logistics and transportation and there are delivery dead lines that need to be met
The GM will manage four Production Supervisors and the Maintenance/Engineering Manager and staff as well all operating personnel including the Service Manager who manages the delivery services
The GM will report directly to the owner of the business who is a driven entrepreneur but the owner will not be on site daily but will visit frequently
This is a very deadline driven operation servicing Hospital and Health Care organizations in the Western New York region/area.
The owner has significant plans to expand the operation so this General Manager must be willing to work hard to accommodate the growth.
This will require some weekends and holidays for a period of time as this facility is only closed a few days a year due to their customer base and the needs of their customers

BASE SALARY $115,000 - $145,000 DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.

The ideal candidate will have:
A history of developing a high-performing team of sales leaders through recruitment, hiring, and training
Ability to conceptualize and apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence within a region
Demonstrate excellence in cold calling and prospecting in the field especially on ride-alongs with the sales team
Establish and grow a culture within the team that encourages and motivates members to meet and exceed sales goals
Create and maintain strategic partnerships with local and regional leads groups and associations
Set up, execute and maintain systems to measure, promote, and reward success
Four-year degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience in hospitality or related industry
At least 5 years of hiring, training, and coaching outside sales reps preferably demonstrated experience with Sandler Sales Training.
Sandler Sales Training is a requirement
Must have strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Must have strong analytical, reporting, and computer skills, specifically CRM (Salesforce) and Excel
SALARY $100,000 + BONUS UP TO 30%
