Director of Business Development-Seattle Washington

As part of their Executive team, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for managing and leading their high-energy outside sales team and their revenue generating activity for the food service markets for Washington to Oregon.
The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented, high activity, revenue-focused individual with a history of top sales performance and the competency to motivate, coach, develop, and inspire a team. The goal of this candidate will be to use their expertise to set sights on exceeding company-set sales goals through successful strategic planning and sales team management
The ideal candidate will have:
A history of developing a high-performing team of sales leaders through recruitment, hiring, and training
Ability to conceptualize and apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence within a region
Demonstrate excellence in cold calling and prospecting in the field especially on ride-alongs with the sales team
Establish and grow a culture within the team that encourages and motivates members to meet and exceed sales goals
Create and maintain strategic partnerships with local and regional leads groups and associations
Set up, execute and maintain systems to measure, promote, and reward success
Four-year degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience in hospitality or related industry
At least 5 years of hiring, training, and coaching outside sales reps preferably demonstrated experience with Sandler Sales Training.
Sandler Sales Training is a requirement
Must have strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Must have strong analytical, reporting, and computer skills, specifically CRM (Salesforce) and Excel
Salary $100,000 + bonus up to 30%

As an Account Manager, you will be the single point of contact for various interactions with public school administrators who work for districts belonging to our network. You will also be responsible for retention of our existing school district relationships which will be maintained through careful, accurate and consistent communications with district decision-makers. Furthermore, you will consult with these decision-makers to identify opportunities for growth and new online learning solutions within the school districts.
Essential to this role are project management, organization, coordination and communication skills as they relate to clients and internal stakeholders, consulting expertise, problem solving, quick thinking and a customer-centric perspective.
Strong experience in account management and client satisfaction
Proven success up-selling and growing existing client product line
Management of multiple priorities within a deadline-driven environment
Keen discernment ability that allows for solutions that are beneficial to both the client and our company
Able to work and think independently within a framework of best practices and common goals is essential
Excellent organizational, time management, communication, customer support and project management skills
Unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy of communications
Experience in presentation development and public speaking essential
Attention to detail
Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of experience.
Experience with educational service company or public schools is a plus
Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and online technologies
