Real Estate Closing Coordinator/Paralegal

Real Estate agency located in the Greater Pittsburgh area is looking for an organized and intelligent individual with paralegal experience or interest to assist the office and agents with closings and assist with client relations and financial processes. You will be an integral part of the agency by assisting in streamlining the current processes in place.



  • Prepare Settlement Statements/CDs

  • Order and review title and assist with title clearance of subject properties

  • Open title orders and order lien letters

  • Communicate and coordinate with lenders, buyers, and sellers in a closing transaction

  • Prepare documents and affidavits for closing

  • Schedule and maintain closing calendars

  • Prepare wires for transfer

  • Disburse files and issue checks post-closing

  • Issue closing documents and letters to appropriate parties

  • Provide internal and external customer service

  • Answer a moderate volume of phone calls

  • Deposit incoming funds from lender

  • Ensure file is properly balance and reconcile any differences with Escrow Officer

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum Associates Degree required, 4 year Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and above average attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Working understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and quality of work

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Softpro software preferred.
