Production Manager - Mid-Level Position - Potential to grow and propel your career forward!

A small, growing, and profitable assembly/machining client is searching for a Production Manager.  The client is located in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia 45 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This is a beautiful facility.

The Production Manager will replace, over the next six months, a person who is being promoted and moving to a new facility.  The opportunity for professional advancement and promotion makes this position ideal for someone who is newer to their career.

This person will be responsible for a small, non union workforce. They will have three lead operators who in turn direct 12 operators.  This position requires great communication skills and organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

This is primarily an assembly operation with at least one cnc machining center.  Newlines are in the process of being added over the next two years.

  • In this role, you will work with the Supply Chain and purchasing group to ensure components are on hand for assembly in relation to the production schedule dictated by the customers. 

  • Your responsibilities as a Production Manager will also include time delivery, measurable productivity and evaluation of the operators performance.  Experience with 5S and lean is greatly desired in this role.

Qualifications

  • A BS in Engineering is preferred

  • 1-5 years of production or engineering experience

  • Strong leadership, communication and team building skills are required

BASE SALARY FROM $60K TO $73K WITH POTENTIAL MBO BONUS.
