Our client at a Pittsburgh based company is seeking a Foundry Manager. You must have a hands-on approach to management. In this role, you must also be comfortable with collaborative peer group work is important, as you will be an important liaison between multiple departments.
Candidate Requirements
You must be safety focused in this role. You must also have Lean manufacturing experience and ISO compliance experience.
Other requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
7+ years’ production management experience in a Steel and Iron open air, induction melting foundry
7+ years’ production management experience in casting Foundry (vertical casting experience preferred)
Experience with the production and handling of large castings (up to 30K lbs)
Non-Ferrous melting and casting experience desired
7+ years’ experience managing a small to medium size (15 to 50 employees) Foundry
Management experience in a non-union environment with a flat organizational structure
Experience managing a shift-based production environment
Up to $100,000 base salary
