Manufacturing Resource Planning Lead
As an MRP Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning and controlling schedules, as well as coordinating with manufacturing vendors to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet customer and manufacturing vendor requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with management and suppliers, advising them of the work in progress status, material availability and potential production obstacles to ensure on time delivery.
Develop Sales forecasts using statistical tools to model predicted demand
Evaluate and implement new/enhanced forecasting techniques
Prepare weekly MRP reports for executive management
Working with manufacturing to create and implement a credible plan that meets customer requirements
Ensuring all necessary components are available for production via system scheduling
Configuration and maintenance of the MRP module within our ERP system to properly reflect all key setups required for accurate procurement, processing and delivery of products
Follow Warehouse Inventory Cycle Count to maintain system accuracy of material ensuring timely transactions of any discrepancies
Managing deliveries, as well as making balanced business decisions under trying and ambiguous circumstances
Communicating with cross functional teams and the production team for a clear understanding of the customer
Coordinating with the logistics group for the delivery and movement of components and product
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 5+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 3+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment
APICS is desirable

Duties and Responsibilities / General Competencies
Software engineering, machine/industrial automation, product and prototype testing
Creating and refining structural and logical/algorithmic designs.
Design, Operate, and Test systems and applications using low to medium voltage (480 VAC, 3-phase, and below), DC Circuits, and various analog distribution systems.
Develop, read, and check electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control descriptions, I/O lists, Bills of Materials, and PLC/HMI code for control of various electro-mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with industry, engineering, and customer standards and specifications.
Working knowledge and application of electric codes and standards.
Familiar with design and programming of PLC, HMI and Ethernet interfacing.
Exceptional analytical and applied problem-solving skills; troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution of programs and systems.
Understanding of industry best practices and process associated with software development, including technical writing, system documentation, and design document management.
Demonstrable knowledge of troubleshooting, design methodologies, coding practices, and testing strategies.
Support Field Service Technicians on equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, and continuing maintenance
Support Production efforts; resolve on-floor design and assembly issues as needed
Sales communication and customer support as required.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Software, Electrical, or other engineering field of study with programming course work
4 years required, 5 to 8 years of applicable experience preferred
Equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be substituted
Thorough knowledge of modern PLC programming (IEC-1131).
Experience with UI design and HMI’s.
Experience using LabView for machine control and data collection.
Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Capacity to learn other software as necessary
